BSC commentary: want hints on the next chapter?

Yes I know this isn't the next chapter, but I figured that I should make these posts to signify that I haven't abandoned Beneath the Shadows of Cydonia just yet.

While I haven't started the planning for chapter 1 yet, it doesn't mean that it isn't coming. I've been working on other projects and have been fighting bouts of writer's block and lack of inspiration and creativity.

However, to prove that I'm still serious, there is a way you can check for hints at things to come in the next chapters.

It has to do with Blogger's relationship with Picasa, a photo hosting service that, like Blogger, was a fast growing net business that was bought out by Google.  Now, this is important, as any picture that you post on a Blogger blog post will be put into an Picasa album that is automatically created when you create your blog.

Now, I know some of you have noticed that as you play the image of the person you are addressing is displayed.  Now, if you want to know who might be in the next chapter, or if existing characters end up in 'interesting' situations, all you need to do is find the Picasa album that corresponds to this blog (so an album called "Beneath the Shadows of Cydonia").

Though to note, in the prologue, depending on how you played it, you had the potential of meeting three characters.  If you only saw two (Knox and Vixi) well... Spoilers!

Though, count it, there are four distinct people in that sea of Hero Machine portraits.  You know what that means!
